The site is 6 hours away and I really need this to work without issue. Teamviewer's site has a note about this and the possibility of a dummy vga plug working, but I have no experience with using on of those and if they really work for this situation.
Is there something free like teamviewer that works on "headless" systems? I do not have any kind of vpn to the site so I need something that works over the internet like teamviewer. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this issue, and possible work arounds. Security is enhanced by the fingerprint, which allows users to provide additional proof of the remote devices identity.
Before each connection, the TeamViewer network servers check the validity of the IDs of both endpoints. Ive seen problems arise in the past where it would only show a black screen and or grossly distort everything on the screen when there was no monitor present on the remote system, I think it even warned there was no monitor and that it would cause problems. The connection is established using automatically generated unique IDs and passwords. I am worried about issues with teamviewer operating on the system without a monitor. I need to access a remote Windows 7 pro machine that will not have a monitor.
